FAQs & Cancellation Policies
Class Format: Classes are hands-on and, unless otherwise noted, are 2-2 1/2 hours in length You will be working in groups of 2 and recipes will be provided. Stations are available on a first come basis, so if you would like all of your party to be together we encourage you to arrive 10 minutes before class begins.
What to wear: We will be standing & walking around the commercial kitchen. It can be hot and we have some sharp equipment, so wear appropriate clothing along with closed toe shoes. Please restrain long hair.
Ages of participants: We have a variety of classes for all ages. Please note when signing up if the class is age appropriate for the participant.
Adults: 18 +
Teens: 14 +
Kids: 5 +
Food allergies: Please review the menu for your class carefully. We will do our best to accommodate serious food allergies, but we do use Treenut, Peanut, Soy, Dairy, Eggs & Wheat in this kitchen. If you have any concerns, please contact us to discuss 513-781-4637.
How do I register for a class?: You can register online or in the studio. Once you are registered, you are confirmed for the class. Please mark the date on your calendar, a reminder email will be sent before the class. We are not responsible for incorrect or bounced back emails.
When to arrive: We encourage you to plan on arriving at least 10 minutes before the start of class. If you know you will be late, please call to inform us at 513-781-4637. Late arrivals may disrupt the class, but we will get you started at your station the best we can. After 30 minutes late without a phone call, you have forfeited your spot.
Who teaches classes?: Our chef instructors are all culinary trained and excited to share with you the tricks & techniques we use every day. Led by Chef/Owner Jaime Carmody our standards include having fun & learning something new.
How much food will we make? Can I take food home?: Each participant will make a meal or solid portions of whatever the topic is that class. We can provide take home containers for you, and we encourage you to refrigerate & heat your food properly to ensure food quality. Once food has left our studio we are not responsible for its safety. When you sign into class you are signing a waiver.
What is on your waiver: We do have cameras in use in the facility and it covers that & all the items in the cancellation policy & faq’s. All class participants will be required to sign before the class begins.
Do you serve drinks?: We offer both plain and flavored water at each class and a welcome drink from the bar will be included in your price. Additional mixed drinks and sodas will be available at a cost per drink.
How many students per class?: Most of our classes are designed for a maximum of 12 people. The minimum for a class is 4 participants. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment you will be offered to reschedule or be refunded. We will do our best not to cancel class.
Discounts & Special Offers: When you register for another class during a class and you will receive 20% off. Each participant will also receive a coupon for discounted take-home meals from the a la carte refrigerator.
Can I schedule a private class or dinner party?: Yes we offer a variety of options for private classes or dinners either in our studio or in your home. Please contact us via phone or email to arrange a date & menu.
